Family with children on a budget
The breakfast was more than I expected, after weeks of living off tins, it was a welcome change! the staff were friendly, helping with whatever we needed, even if there weren’t enough of them at times, felt good to see people care.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive for what you got but still acceptable when you consider the circumstances.

missingWrote a review on Jun 13central locationcomfortable roombasic amenitiesbroken furnishingscold atmosphere
Centrally situated just off the High Street, making it easy to access the beach and pier. The room offered a large bed and basic amenities, allowing for some degree of comfort despite the overall minimal upkeep.
Numerous issues plagued the stay, including broken cupboards that fell, broken lights, and a small, poke bathroom. The shower suffered from inconsistent water temperature, and the toilet flush was problematic. Breakfast, which was advertised as included, was inexplicably missing, and our room had a persistent cold draft, necessitating the use of a plug-in heater. Noise from other guests was disruptive, and decor featured cobwebs, creating a less-than-ideal atmosphere for relaxation.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom had not seen proper cleaning in ages, with remnants from previous guests still present. Uncomfortable single beds lacked mattress covers, and the dripping sounds throughout the night made for a less than peaceful sleep.

missingWrote a review on Feb 17
The location offers easy access to nearby attractions, making it convenient for families like ours. Clean bedding provided a decent first impression, although the room's overall layout left something to be desired.
Rooms fell short, featuring very basic wood chip walls and exceptionally small dimensions that cramped our family's comfort. The mattresses were uncomfortable, feeling like cheap makeshift beds without adequate support—you could feel every spring. The bathroom setup lacked symmetry, with narrow hallways and steep stairs making navigation awkward. breakfast promised but not delivered was a letdown, exacerbated by the only means of communication being a mobile number with poor responsiveness. amenities felt incomplete, making the experience more about budget than enjoyment.
